Interop ITX and InformationWeek Surveyed Business Technology Decision-Makers and the Results Show a Powerful Migration to the Cloud

In 2016, technology professionals at organizations that use or plan to use cloud computing were recruited to respond to a survey conducted by Interop ITX and InformationWeek. Respondents held IT management titles such as CIO, CTO, VP of IT, IT manager, or IT director. 4 in 10 respondents were from large companies with 1,000 or more employees.

Survey Results:

TOP BENEFITS OF CLOUD COMPUTING

  1. Greater scalability
  2. Higher performance
  3. Better and/or faster access to technology resources
  4. Cost savings
  5. Faster time to market
  6. Improved business continuity
  7. Increased IT staff efficiency
  8. Improved employee productivity
