From Nortel, to Cisco, the best option UniVoIP
Originally, Fit’s communication infrastructure was serviced by Nortel, a basic phone set up with outdated equipment that didn’t support the club’s modern atmosphere. When Nortel experienced bankruptcy in 2009, Avaya acquired Nortel, which forced businesses like Fit to endure large upfront expenses in order to upgrade their communication infrastructure. When faced with a $10,000 upgrade charge, Fit moved from Nortel to Cisco. After a few years with Cisco, Fit hired an IT Consultant to investigate VoIP providers that would not only meet their communication needs but offer reliable coverage and reduce monthly expenses.
