Enterprise-class Voice and Unified Communications Now Made Easy With UniVoIP’s OfficeConnect Enterprise and Microsoft Skype for Business

UniVoIP announced today the launch of the OfficeConnect Enterprise phone system integration with Skype for Business (formerly Lync), including Microsoft server on-premises and online. OfficeConnect Enterprise is a secured cloud communication service including an innovative technology platform, sophisticated IP and soft-phones, multimedia contact center functionality, unified communications, call recording, advanced Interactive Voice Response (IVR) features and more. UniVoIP’s advanced enterprise voice capabilities seamlessly integrate into the Microsoft environment. Without the need for third-party voice components, gateways or Microsoft software changes, organizations can now enjoy full-featured voice communications from an industry leader while leveraging customer investment with Microsoft Office 365.

OfficeConnect Enterprise for Skype For Business allows individuals throughout the enterprise to gain access to a complete range of telephony features ensuring full mobility as a core component while providing an in-office experience from anywhere.

OfficeConnect Enterprise extends the Skype for Business client to OfficeConnect voice control features, such as voice presence, escalate IM to a call, call from contact list, click-to-call, incoming call device selection, Hot-Desking and more. It includes in-call features like call waiting, mute, Do Not Disturb, forward, transfer, and embedded conferencing. When Skype For Business is installed with Microsoft desktop applications associated with a desk phone or a softphone, OfficeConnect Enterprise along with Skype for Business support voice integration with Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, Outlook, and click-to-call from leading web-browsers.

The integration allows workers to control their desk phones and mobile phones while seamlessly moving calls between devices within the Skype for Business client. With embedded mobility solutions such as basic Twinning, Dynamic Extension and Hot-Desking, workers are free to communicate from wherever their business takes them, without the burden of escalating mobility costs.

“UniVoIP is now bringing together the best of both worlds: An Enterprise grade Cloud PBX solution including Contact Center and IVR features with Microsoft Office 365 and Skype for business applications,” says Chris Vuillaume, Vice President, UniVoIP.
